Music Photography

Torleif Svensson is a renowned Swedish photographer with over 30 years of experience capturing the essence of live music. His deep passion for rock and concert photography has made him a prominent name in the industry. His defining moment came during Queen’s legendary last tour in the summer of 1986. Positioned at the front of the stage, he documented an unforgettable scene—Freddie Mercury removing his crown and making his final exit before a massive crowd of 120,000 (or possibly even 200,000) electrified fans. This performance, now recognized as one of Queen’s greatest, marked the end of an era, though it was only later that its full significance became clear.

His book Queen – The Last Tour tells the remarkable story of that concert and how it shaped his artistic vision. Today, his work stands as a tribute to the golden age of rock, offering fans and collectors a chance to own a piece of music history.
